PestX Coach — Delete Your Account & Data
This page explains how to permanently delete your PestX Coach account and all data associated with it.
Option 1: Delete from inside the app (instant)
The fastest way:
- Open the PestX Coach app.
- Sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Tap your profile avatar in the top-right corner.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and all data are removed within seconds.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app or prefer not to delete it yourself, email us:
Include:
- The email address associated with your PestX Coach account
- A short note stating that you want your account and data deleted
We will process your request and confirm by email within 7 business days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed:
- Your Firebase Authentication record (you can no longer sign in)
- Your user profile (display name, photo, role, storage settings)
- Every audio recording you uploaded or recorded, from Cloud Storage
- Every transcript generated from your recordings, from Firestore
- Every coaching response generated for your recordings, from Firestore
- The chat history between you and the AI coach for each recording
What gets kept
Nothing user-identifying is retained. We do not keep backup copies of your recordings, transcripts, or profile after deletion.
The only exception: aggregate, fully anonymous usage statistics from Google Cloud (e.g., total bytes stored in the project, total function invocations) may remain in Google's analytics dashboards. These cannot be linked back to you.
